Besta Health Foundation is a registered Tanzanian NGO created on a simple truth — medical care alone is not enough. Too many cancer patients face financial hardship, late diagnosis, low awareness and emotional distress. Working alongside Besta Hospital and partners like Shujaa Cancer Foundation and Associazione Ruvuma Onlus, we complement hospital treatment with patient support, community screening, awareness and advocacy — easing the cancer burden for families nationwide.

We support cancer patients in Tanzania beyond their hospital treatment — covering treatment subsidies, transport, food, and diagnostic costs, along with counselling, free community screening, and awareness campaigns that promote early detection.
You can give a one-off or monthly gift through our Donate page via bank transfer or mobile money. Every contribution goes directly to patient support — treatment, transport, food, and diagnosis — as our constitution requires all funds to serve the Foundation's objectives.
Yes. We welcome volunteers for screening camps and awareness events, and partnerships with hospitals, companies, and organisations. Visit our Get Involved page or contact us to begin.
